LORENE KRAUSE obituary

GREAT FALLS - Lorene Alice (Bebee) Krause, 74, of Great Falls died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at a Great Falls hospice due to cancer.

A memorial service was held Saturday morning at Valley Community Bible Church in Great Falls. Burial of ashes will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery in Havre.

She was born July 29, 1929 in Malta and was raised in Malta.

She married Vernon James Krause on Oct. 28, 1949. In addition to be a homemaker, she worked for Mountain Bell.

She belonged to a card club and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, embroidery, playing cards and bingo, canning her own fruits and vegetables, reading, music and being involved with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon James Krause on May 17, 2001.; brother, Gary Bebee of Livingston; and sister, Orpha Johnson.

Survivors include her daughters, Vickie (Dean) Johnson and Joy (Mike) Stafford of Great Falls; sisters, Dorothy Nitz of Great Falls and Lois Emmanualson of Chewelah, Wash.; brothers, Frank Bebee of Malta, Henry Bebee of Havre and Kenneth Bebee of Great Falls; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made to Valley Community Bible Church of Great Falls.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Croxford's Funeral Home and Crematory.
