Ponies sweep Browning, come up short against top-ranked Lewistown


Anytime you can win two out of three Central A Conference volleyball matches in a given weekend, you have to consider it a success.

However, after three matches this weekend, the Havre Blue Ponies were left with a frustrated feeling, according to head coach Bill Huebsch.

The Ponies were feeling somewhat down after their triangular meet with Browning and Lewistown because the Ponies could not find a way to end several years of torture at the hands of the top-ranked Lewistown Eagles.

The Blue Ponies defeated Browning twice on the weekend, but fell to the Eagles Saturday afternoon in four game...
