The regular season came to an end for Northern six-man teams in the area. For the J-I Rams it was just the beginning as they earned a precious playoff spot with a 54-26 win over Brady. The Rams will hit the road to face the Roberts Rockets on Saturday.

The Box Elder Bears also had an outside chance of making the playoffs. However, their decisive 91-0 win over Brockton was not enough, as they just missed out on the final playoff spot.

The Box Elder Bears completed their first winning season in recent memory by hammering the host Brockton Warriors 91-0. However, the Bears' win was not enough to get them into the Class C six-man playoffs.

With the win, the Bears finished the season with a 5-4 overall record. They finished in a three-way tie with Geyser and Augusta for fourth place. By way of the tie-breaker the Geyser Wranglers earned the final playoff spot in the division.

Running back James Burns scored four times in the first half including runs of 4, 14 and 3 yards. Burns also returned an interception 25 yards for his fourth touchdown of the day. Quarterback Neal Rosette also threw three touchdown passes in the win.
