McGuane will speak at Heritage Center
A well-respected Montana author is the next featured speaker at the Heritage Center Celebrity Luncheon series.
Tom McGuane, who ranches near McLeod in the vicinity of Big Timber, will speak following lunch Wednesday.
McGuane was born in Wyandotte, Mich., in 1939. He received a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1962 and a master's from Yale University in 1965. He was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in creative writing at Stanford in 1966 and was given an honorary doctorate from Montana State University in 1993.
