LOUISE SIEFERT obituary

Louise May Siefert, 44, of Havre died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003, at her residence of cancer.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Northern Montana Care Center Chapel with Ila McClenahan officiating. Cremation has taken place. A pri-

vate family service for interment will take place at a later date.

Louise was born May 25, 1959, to Richard and Dolores (Sommers) Perry in Hamilton. She grew up in the Hamilton area and attended school in Victor until the seventh grade. She moved with her family to Opheim. She completed her schooling and graduated from Opheim High School in 1977. After graduation, she was employed at the Opheim Air Base until it closed.

On Jan. 16, 1978, she married Bruce Siefert in Glasgow. After marriage, the couple lived in Fraser and later moved to Martinsdale and Rosebud, working at farms and ranches in many different areas. She was Bruce's best hand. The couple later moved to Chester, where they lived for 12 years. They moved to Havre in 1996. She worked at Shambo Veterinary Clinic. For the past four years, she worked at the Northern Montana Hospital Pharmacy.

Eleven years ago she survived a bout with cancer.

Louise enjoyed crocheting and riding horses, and she loved all animals. She also enjoyed visiting with family and friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include her parents, Richard and Dolores Perry of Gildford; husband, Bruce Siefert of Havre; son, Paul (Jodie) Siefert of Glasgow; daughters, Dana (Duane) Meiers of Clinton, Sheila (Matthew) Kuhr of Clinton and Jennifer Siefert of Havre, MT; four grandchildren; brother Fred Perry of Whitefish; and sister, Patricia (Jerry) Dowd of Victor.
