The opening weekend was a tough one for Hi-Line girls basketball teams with several squads facing very good competition at a variety of non-conference tournaments.
The J-I Rams and KG KouGars finished the weekend with 2-0 records while the Chester Coyotes knocked off Class B Shelby to highlight the weekend.
J-I had a solid weekend at the Centerville Invitational, trouncing Treasure State Academy High School 68-10 on Friday night and Great Falls Central 51-31 on Saturday night.
