STACEY PETERSON obituary

Stacey Lynn Peterson, 33, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at her home in Havre. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Van Orsdel United Methodist Church with the Rev.

VaunDalee Delong officiating. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the Eagles Club in Havre.

Stacey was born on March 31, 1970, to Rod and Lillian (Felton) Stuker in Terry. When she was a young girl, the family moved to Havre where Stacey attended Havre Public Schools. She graduated from Havre High School in 1989.

After graduation, Stacey attended a year at Northern Montana College in business administration while working at Master Sports in Havre from 1989 to 1996. In 1996 Stacey moved to Missoula to work for Stitches Embroidery. She returned to Havre in 1999.

Stacey married Gary L. Peterson on Nov. 24, 2002, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The couple made their home in Havre. Stacey was employed at Smoker Friendly and at Gary and Leo's IGA. She was a housewife taking care of their new daughter Lily.

Stacey liked flowers, sewing, fishing, camping and was very good at playing darts. She had a love for her dogs Izzi, Molli and Dexter.

Stacey is survived by her parents, Paul and Lillian Sebey of Havre, and Rod and Glenice Stuker of Beaver, Utah; husband, Gary L. Peterson of Havre; daughter, Lily Jean Peterson of Havre; brothers, Pat (Terry) Harper of Kalispell, Tom Harper of Thompson Falls, and Dominique Sebey of Havre; sisters, Kathy Stuker and Randy Root, both of Havre, and Cindy Vest of Kalispell.

Memorials in Stacey's honor may be made to the Havre Day Activity Center, 215 First St. W., Havre, MT 59501.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
