Ponies' pride pushes to a third-place finish

BELGRADE - After watching their state championship dreams end by half an inch, the players on the Havre High boys basketball team were left to play for something just as important - pride.

The Ponies shook off a heartbreaking 53-50 loss to eventual champion Libby to defeat Glendive on Saturday morning in loser-out action and then defeat Sidney in the consolation game to place third.
