Lights sign junior college guard

Montana State University-Northern basketball coach Shawn Huse has added some instant help for next season with the signing of junior college guard Rodrick Carter.

Carter, a 6-0 guard, averaged 14 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for McCook Community College in North Platte, Neb.

"Rodrick will make a very fine addition to our program," Huse said. "He brings a lot of great qualities to the table and we are excited he chose MSU-Northern."
