Pony girls finish seventh at Class A state

It wasn't the finish the Havre High girls track team was looking for this past weekend. But the Ponies battled severe weather and severe competition on their way to a seventh-place finish at the Class A state track and field championships in Butte.

Havre finished the meet with 30 team points, which put them in a tie for seventh place with Stevensville. As expected, Polson captured first-place honors with 58 points, behind four gold medals from standout Kasey Harwood.
