Landslide damages mall parking lot

A landslide west of Havre about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday took out a corner of the Holiday Village Shopping Center parking lot, interrupted power to the mall and started a grass fire.

"People were a little excited," said Brenda Friede, who manages Holiday Village.

Friede said the area of the parking lot where the slide occurred was empty.
