Christina May Love, obituary

Christina May Love, 66 , died Saturday morning at Benefis Health Care in Great Falls, Mont., of natural causes.

Her wake service began at 5 p. m. Sunday. Her funeral service was 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Denny Family Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Christina was born in Rocky Boy, where she spent her early years. She also lived in Seattle, Yakima and Moses Lake Wash., then moved to Havre and Great Falls, Mont. She spent the last years of her life in Great Falls, where she lived with her brother, Steve, and her sister, Juanita. She married Roy Love, in Yakima, Wash. In 1974, and they were married for two years. Christina was a member of the Native American Church and participated in the traditional Sundance ceremony in Rocky Boy for several years. She enjoyed attending powwows and participated in her traditional heritage. In the last few years of her life, due to her declining health, Christina found other means of enjoyment. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching HGTV. She loved to see all of the newest and latest beauty of home decor on HGTV. She never missed an episode. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny and Sylvester Northwind and sister, Mary Northwinds. Christina is survived by her brothers, Henry Northwind; Lar ry Nor thwind; Steven Northwind, Victor (Della) Compos; her sisters, Geraldine (Melvin) Rutherford, Cheri Northwind, Darcia Northwind, Linda Northwind and Juanita (Steve) Mills.
