North Stars face Spurs this afternoon

The Havre North Stars American Legion baseball team will look to get things back on track before the Fourth of July holiday with four games over the next two days. Today, the North Stars are at home to take on the defending Class A champion Vauxhall Spurs in a Northern District doubleheader. Then, Havre will head to Great Falls for a conference doubleheader with the Great Falls Stallions before getting a week off. The North Stars won't return to action until next Wednesday when they travel to Fort MacLeod. Havre comes into today's games with the Spurs off a 1-3 road trip which included a sweep at the hands of the Tri-County Cardinals in Conrad and a split with the Great Falls Sparkies in Great Falls. The next four games are important to Havre as the North Stars are 6-8 in conference play with several key conference road trips upcoming. Today's games with Vauxhall begin at 3 p.m. at Legion Field in Havre and Wednesday's games in Great Falls are also slated to get under way art 3 p.m.
