George Robert “G-Bob” Scofield, 58, loving father and grandfather, of Chinook, passed away at his residence, Monday, July 13, 2009, due to an accidental gunshot wound while target practicing.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m.Tuesday, July 21, at the Chinook Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Mike Bradley officiating. Cremation has taken place. A fellowship reception will be held at the church immediately following the service. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
