JACK nIElSOn GAMBlE obituary

Jack Nielson Gamble, 81, died June 25, 2009, at Northern Montana Hospital of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place, and his memorial service will be at Immanuel Baptist Church, 3:30 p.m. July 27, 2009, with interment at the Highland Cemetery. Jack was born in Mount Pleasant, Pa., in a one room sod house. He moved to Canada with his parents when he was a young boy. He and his dad travelled back and forth between Canada the the United States. His father's nickname was Mountain Jack. His father was a hunter and logger by trade and taught Jack how to hunt and log. He and his father hunted for a living and supplies for the family. He had seven younger siblings, and his youngest brother died of pneumonia when he was just a baby. Jack entered into the United States Army and served during World War II. He was honorably discharged on July 19, 1952. Jack married Pat, and together they had three children. Jack was a "Jack" of all trades and a master of none. He travelled up and down the coast and studied many religions. His favorite pastime was to visit all churches. His only wish was that all Christians would hear the Lord's Prayer and love thy neighbor and enemies as thyself. Jack moved his family to Havre, Mont., in 1997. He wanted to be closer to his family in Canada. He had a hip replacement in 2002, and then in 2006 was forced into the care center fro seven months. Then his daughter, Trixy, took him home to live with her so she could care for him. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jaogueline. Jack is survived by his daughter Trixy (Ron) Biem of Havre, Mont. And his sons Timothy Gamble in Montana and Jack Gamble Jr. In Seattle.
