KELLEN PATRICK LUND obituary

Kellen Patrick Lund, 9, died Monday July 27, 2009, from injuries he received as a result from being struck by a vehicle.

Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday July 30, 2009, at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with his funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday July 31, 2009, at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Brad Ulgenes officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Memorials in Kellen's honor may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Kellen was born Dec, 7, 1999, in Havre, Mont., to Jeri Zorn and Robert Lund. Kellen was raised in Havre and attended Havre Public Schools, where he was a member of the Gifted and Talented program. Kellen was a leader and always did his own thing. He liked to play guitar, and created many things out of legos he truly was a lego creator. He enjoyed skateboarding, camping, hanging out with his friends Dylan, Bobby, Kellen V., Tamera and Jazz. He liked to watch and play football and was a devoted Seattle Seahawks fan and he attended many professional games in Seattle. He was an awesome big brother to Ryker O'Leary and Tavien Lund. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ed and Carol Waterman; paternal grandmother, Betty Mariani and a cousin Levi Lund. Kellen is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jeri (Terry) O'Leary of Havre, Mont.; his father and stepmother, Bobby (Emmy) Lund of Havre, Mont.; two brothers Ryker O'Leary and Tavien Lund, both of Havre, Mont;. Grandparents, Jill (Jim) Johannesen of Havre,Mont., Laurel Zorn of Casa Grande, Ariz., Stan and Micki Lund of Havre, Mont., and Bob and Sandy O'Leary of Havre, Mont.; aunts and uncles: Tiffany O'Leary of Havre, Mont.; Tim and Halley O'Leary of Havre, Mont., James Lund of Missoula, Mont. And Jennifer Lund of Priest Lake, Idaho; several cousins and many in the extended family who love Kellen.
