DEQ hears comments, questions on proposed landfill site

More than 60 people gathered to hear discussion of the environmental assessment on a proposed site for a new landfill, about 3.5 miles east of Havre. Many made comments that locating the dump so near Havre, and close to property and wells just off the site, would be a bad decision.
