PATSY DARLENE SEMANS obituary

Patsy Darlene Semans, loving wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009.

She passed away peacefully in her husband's arms. Patsy and Richard James Semans were married Nov. 16, 1974, in Havre, Mont., and have spent 35 wonderful years together doing the things they love to do. One of Patsy's many enjoyments in life was taking care of her husband and children. She also loved painting, animals, gardening, rock collecting, camping, fishing and exploring God's creation. Patsy especially loved going to church at First Baptist Church to worship Jesus and to fellowship with other believers. Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Richard Semans of Helena; her children, Dustin Semans (Alysa) of Helena, and Shawndelle Kurka (Kelby) of Helena; her children from a previous marriage, Debi Friede (Tom) of Havre, Leslie Apfel (Norman) of Sandpoint Idaho, Robert Damstrom (Roxanne) of Sandpoint Idaho and Kelleen Brenden (Dave) of Phoenix, Ariz. She is also survived by her brother, Dale Vertz (Sue); her sister, Gloria Manley (Frank), 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Adrian Vertz and Barbara Blumer. Memorials can be made out to First Baptist Church of Montana. A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 201 8th Ave., Helena, Mont.
