Youth leagues start Sunday at Hi-Line Lanes

Halloween Jackpot will be held Oct. 31 at Hi-Line Lanes, which happens to be Halloween, at 8 p.m. Reservations for that night or any Saturday night Jackpot may be made by calling 265- 5885. Havre Youth bowling begins this Sunday. Bantam and Preps will begin bowling at 1 p.m. and Junior/Majors at 2:30. You are asked to be present one hour prior to start this first day only. Registration will take place and the cost is $8. If you are unable to attend this first day and want to join contact Chris at 265-5317, Hi-Line Lanes at 265- 5885, or me at 265-4664. Bantam bowlers include ages from 6-8 who bowl two games a session. Preps include ages from 9-11, Juniors 12-14, and Majors 15-18 who all bowl three games per session. As of today the PeeWees are scheduled to begin Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. No one over the age of seven will be allowed to bowl with the PeeWees. This league is best for ages 6 and under. Happy birthday Kara Malone. Kristi Kline gains one Thursday and Becky Blake Sunday. Michele Denny picked a 6-7; Robert Fegan 6-7-10; Sheila Wirt 5-10; Byron Welter 4-7-10; and Lisa Morrell a 4-9 and a 3-9-10. Christy Holden had the highs of 212 and 551. Pam Conatser shot a 490 and Rhonda Gregoire a 489. So far it has been a pretty ugly start for the women, hope things get better. Kyle Surber neared perfection with his 297 and was just two pins shy of a "7" with his 698. Mike Hamilton had a 244, 606; Roy Hamilton 604; Don Jones 637; Lorin Teske 634; and Kelly Olson 684. Olson's 856 was the high four game. Shawn Mariani had a 799 and Dave Hamilton a 788.
