Fort Hood victim is laid to rest

CAMERON, Texas (AP)

A physician assistant killed in the Fort Hood shooting spree, 62-year-old Michael Grant Cahill, was given a 21-gun salute during his funeral. Cahill, a graduate of Northern Montana College in the 1970s, now Montana State Univesity-Northern, has maintained his ties to Havre over the years. More than 500 of Cahill's family members and friends attended Sunday's funeral mass at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Cameron.
