PEGGY M. JACKSON obituary

Peggy M. Jackson, 78 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at the Northern Montana Care Center surrounded by her loving family.

Her family will always cherish the days of the last three weeks of her life. She was born May 21, 1931, in Kalispell, Mont., to Theodore S. Ellen M. (Radabah) Grimm. Peggy lived throughout Montana, coming to Havre in 2003. Peggy enjoyed cross stitch and painting. She loved to draw. Before failing health prevented her, Peggy thoroughly enjoyed cooking for her family, to whom she was singly devoted. She had a very strong faith and trusted God deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Debi Hofeldt; brother, Erwin Grimm; her granddaughter, Dorenda Bernardi; her greatgrandson Trenton Marcus Bennett; and infant greatgrandson. Peggy is survived by her son, Richard Bernardi of Great Falls; her daughters, Mitzi (Mark) Bennett of Fort Benton; Gina (Jim) Schaff; her son Bruce Bernardi of Havre; her sisters, Margie (Gordon) Midland of Littleton, Colo.; Janet (Frances) Flannigan of Kalispell, Fran (Butch) Condon; her twin brother, Fred Grimm, all of Helena; and her sister-in-law, Bev Grimm of Kalispell; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her very dear friend, Debbie Dees; and numerous nieces and nephews. Per Peggy's request, no services are planned. Cremation has taken place and has been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home of Havre.
