MYRTLE VIOLA ROBERTS obituary

Myrtle Viola Roberts of Havre, Mont., passed away Nov. 28, 2009, in Rathdrum, Idaho, at the age of 89.

She was born Feb. 12, 1920, in Chinook, Mont., a daughter to Cary and Martha Henderson. Myrtle and Albert H. Roberts were married 51 years residing in Havre with their eight children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert (Bill); daughter, Billie Kay (Jones); son, Albert F.; granddaughter, Janet R. Roberts; grandsons, Billy Roberts and Shane Hofer; parents, brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons, Edward G. of Boise, Gary L. of Rathdrum, Kenneth D. of Redding, Calif.; daughters, Donna Jean Whitaker of Columbia Falls, Sheila M Pooler of Fernwood, Idaho, and Connie L. Hofer of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; sister, Betty Head of Havre; 18 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews. Myrtle was a very strongwilled person who loved her husband and children very much. She was a mother and homemaker who loved cooking and making homemade bread. Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, at Holland & Bonine Funeral Home in Havre. Viewing will be from 10 a.m., Friday, until service time at the funeral home.
