The football season has been over for some time now, but for three Havre High players, the honors keep coming. On Monday afternoon, the Class A All-State was released for 2009 and three HHS seniors made the list. Havre High running back Kent Pattison earned all-state honors after leading the Central A in rushing, eclipsing the 1,000-yard barrier and averaging nearly 189 yards per game. Offensive guard Will DeVries was also named to the team. DeVries played a big part in paving the way for HHS's rushing attack this season, which was one of the top rushing offenses in Class A. On defense, senior outside linebacker John Perrodin was earned all-state honors for the Ponies. Perrodin helped an HHS defense which was among the tops in the Central A in total defense and scoring defense. Perrodin was also among the team leaders in tackles for the Ponies this season. Class A state champion Frenchtown had the most players make the list, while Billings Central was a close second. Players from Belgrade, Butte Central, Browning and Havre also topped the all-state list from the Central A.
