OLIVIA J. SAVAGE obituary BOISE, Idaho

Olivia J. Savage 67, died Dec. 11, 2009, at her son's home from complications of multiple health problems.

A family viewing was held Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Aclesa Funeral Chapel in Boise. A memorial service was held Dec. 15, 2009, at Linder Road Church of Christ in Merdian, Idaho. Cremation has taken place and burial will take place at a later date. Olivia was born Nov. 12, 1942, in Water Valley, Miss., to Henry Albert and Jettie Edna (Shepherd) House. Olivia was the youngest child of eight siblings. She attened elementary and high school in Water Valley. Olivia married Chester E. Savage Jan. 1, 1958, in Mississippi. They were divorced in 1995 after 37 years of marriage. Olivia and Chester had six children. Olivia moved to Havre in 1982. She attended Northern Montana College in the late 1980s. She worked in retail sales and marketing and also as a substitue teacher. Olivia moved to Boise in 2005. Olivia was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She had a very positive attitude and caring nature. She was a strong Christian and always wanted the best for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved very much and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death in death by her parents; her brothers, Winifred House, R.V. House, Jack House, Lloyd House, Dennis House, and Dewitt House; and her sister, Lucille Shepherd. She is survived by her children, Tenson “Bo” Savage of Boise, Brenda (Kevin) Garcia of Washington, Judy Savage of Florida, Scott (Sharon) Savage of Great Falls, Teresa (Harvey) Herrig of Havre and Paul (Rebecca) Savage of Boise; brother, Henry Albert (Ruth) House Jr., of Water Valley; seven grandchildren, Joshua Garcia, Jadynn Olivia, Harvey Joshua and Chase Herrig all of Havre, Jeremy Lawrence and Paige Herrig of Great Falls, and Joseph and Lacey Savage of Mississippi; and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Haydon of Mississippi; and many family and friends.
