Havre Pride cleanup set for Sept. 11

For about 15 years now, Kim Cripps has led troops out to the streets and sidewalks of Havre each spring and fall to collect trash from the streets.

She will be at it again 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 11.

The fall Havre Pride day is aimed at sprucing up neighborhoods for Havre Festival Days, which will take place the next weekend.

Teams of people meet at the fire station and spread throughout the community to pick up trash. Bags will be provided, Cripps said.

"We're just asking people to come out and show their pride in Havre," said Cripps.
