Thank you to all for successful Kicks @ 6!

On behalf of the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town Square Committee we would like to thank Kirt Miller and the Other Brothers band for again providing the community with a summer of music fun at Town Square during Kicks @ 6! The time the band dedicates to each Wednesday evening in June, July and August shows their commitment to Kicks @ 6! and to the community.

As with so many activities that take place in Havre, Kicks @ 6! would not happen without the volunteer help and the financial generosity of those believing in keeping Havre a great place. Thank you again to Devon Energy for your generosity by being a sponsor of Kicks @ 6! Your willingness to support community activities such as Kicks @ 6! is very much appreciated. We also thank the Sleeter Fund for supporting Kicks @ 6!

Friends gather for a light dinner, others see friends they have not visited with in awhile, all fulfilling the original goal of the Town Square Committee — to create a gathering place for the community. It is heartwarming to stroll through the square seeing community folks singing along to the familiar tunes and some finding partners to dance with to the rhythm of the music.

To the groups and organizations that held fundraisers for community projects and groups in need — thank you for using the square during Kicks @ 6! for your projects.

Thank you also to everyone who supported Kicks @ 6! this summer. We again had great weather along with great crowds.

Again a very special thanks to Kirt Miller and the members of the Other Brothers band for another great summer and the extra evening you gave us on Aug. 18. We are already looking to next summer's Kicks @ 6! music series. See you then!
