Antoinette (Toni) (Toad) Michele Gervais, 48, was taken by our Lord on July 30, 2010, in Kalispel Regional Hospital, with complications from lupus, which she had been struggling with for more than 30 years.

Toni was born Oct. 26, 1961, in Hawthorne, Calif., to Joanne Baker Pearson and Kenneth Lloyd Gervais. Toni attended most of her schooling in Havre, Mont. She married Jerold Tucker at an early age and later divorced. She continued on her journey to find her destiny where she then met her second husband, Mike Clemmins, in California. Not fully fulfilled, she decided to travel to various places around the United States. She finally settled down in the Flathead Valley to be close to her mother, where she finally met the love of her life, Delmer Erickson.

She then completed her GED and continued on to take college courses, intending to pursue a degree in the medical field. Her illness kept her from completing her education.

Toni was the most compassionate, fun-loving, caring, giving, and talented individual you could ever meet. Through her struggle, she kept a positive attitude and her faith guided her through. Her smile and jokes could make you laugh until you cried.

Toni was very artistically inclined. She enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, drawing and crafts. She was an avid Facebooker, especially Farmville.

After her long battle with lupus Toni decided to put herself in God's hand.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Roy A. Moore; and her sisters, Kathy and Jennifer Gervais; and her stepfather, David E Moore.

She is survived by her mother, Joanne Pearson of Hungry Horse; her father, Kenneth Gervais of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her sisters, Brenda (Chuck) Cox of Havre and Yvette Gervais of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her brother, Gary Moore (Summer Stilger) of Havre; her niece, Amber Cox (Paul Turner) of Missoula; her nephews, Jason (Britin) Cross of Billings, David Cross (Britta Umbach) of Great Falls and Alex and Geoffrey Moore, both of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; her soul mate, Delmer Erickson of Kalispell; her lifelong friend, Clea Bergren of Havre; goddaughter, Kela Bergren of Havre; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and two greatnieces.

Toni touched and inspired many lives and will be truly missed by all. A celebration of Toni's life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday August 3, 2010, at Hungry Horse Chapel in Hungry Horse, Mont.

A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following at the chapel.

Donations can be made in Toni's honor to the Lupus Foundation Inc., 2000 L St. NW, Suite 710, Washington DC 20036.

Arrangements are being made by Columbia Mortuary, Columbia Falls.
