Congratulations to GED graduates

I would like to address the recent GED recipients, who have achieved their first educational goal and have made their futures so much brighter. I taught Adult Basic and Literacy Education at District IV Human Resources Development Council for two years. Several of the people pictured in the Hi-Line Living section Friday, July 30, are eager students I worked with during that time. I was unable to attend the graduation ceremony, but I would like to add my congratulations to all of you. Many of you have persisted for countless hours, showing tenacity and true character in acquiring the GED. Each one of you has reason to smile, and I am proud of you.

What is next? Some of you have already started college or trade school; some of you were able to find a good job, or have advanced at your work place. Whatever your future holds, more doors will be opened, and more choices will be yours because of this success.

Congratulations!

Maggie Doll Havre
