Hamilton Oks interim zoning for marijuana stores

The Hamilton City Council has unanimously approved interim zoning for medical marijuana dispensaries. The ordinance, which was passed Tuesday and goes into effect immediately, relegates such stores to certain business, industrial and commercial areas in various parts of the city. It does not apply to eligible patients growing up to six marijuana plants or in possession of up to 1 ounce of marijuana for private use.
