Flood warnings out for Beaver Creek

The rains and snow in the last week have raised a flood warning south of town, although the chair of the Hill County Commission expects the cool weather to minimize any serious problems. "We're just monitoring it," Mike Wendland said this morning. "I think we're in good shape if it stays cool so we don't get a quick melt." The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory late Wednesday morning running through 2:45 p.m. Friday that included Beaver Creek.
