Regular season leagues wrapping up at Hi-Line Lanes

Sunday Keglers finished their season with Minnow's Marine claiming first place. Team members on Minnow's are Norma and Minnow Mariani and Marla and Donny Boyce. Palace Bar took the top spot on the Thursday Mixers. Susie Friede, Chris Pappas, Andy and Christy Owens, and Julie Sparks made up the team roster. PJ's finished second and Arctic Circle was third. Hi-Line Lanes will be setting their summer hours soon but until then, they offer plenty of things to do. A spring league is forming to run eight weeks — sounds interesting. It will be a three person team that will bowl two games of 9 pin no tap, play two games of pool, and one game of darts at a cost of $10 per week per person. Jackpot bowling is being held every Saturday night at 8. Kids can bowl free when accompanied by adults. There is a limit of three games per day and the adults must bowl also. Bowling shoes must be worn and the cost of them is $1.50 per pair. This may not be used with other specials and must be done during business hours and no later than 8 p.m. The family bowling package is still being offered as well as parties and birthday parties. The lanes will also sponsor teams for the annual Putt-Putt, call 265-5885 for more info on any of the above. Junior bowlers going to state may practice bowl free up until the time they go. They may also check out balls and shoes but these must be returned upon returning home. Women's City finished up Tuesday night. Results from that league will be here next week. Men's City and Thursday AM will finish up next week and results will follow. Tami Carlson has a birthday Thursday and Christy Owens gains one Friday. Kristi Kline picked a 2-6-7-10; Bob Blazer 6-7-10; Delonna Malone and Jim Burrington 6-7-9-10s; Todd Schmidt 4-7- 10; Roseann Marino 4-6-7; Jeff Lynnes 7-8-10; and Doris Howard 3-10 twice. Lacy Farmer's 225 in her 554 and a 562 with a 204 by Christy Holden were the highs. Barb DeRosa had a 500; Lainie Fitzpatrick 509; Jeania Stiles 515; Michele Denny 200; Pam Ehlert 525; Jackie Mayer 520 and 509; Max Munson 501; and Fina Hoffman 202, 533. Dave Wolf's 289 and 702 were the men's highs. Ron Turner shot a 266, 647; Shawn Mariani 256, 630; Dennis Morse 245, 603; Kyle Surber 256, 642; and "6" shooters were: Ken Riska 623; Jeff Lynnes 630; Arnie Shulund 624; Eric Bartow 654; Nick Turner 602; and Roy Hamilton 613. The high four game of 848 belonged to Ken Riska. Jason McDonald had an 811; Jeff Lynnes 825; and Arnie Shulund 801. I failed to include Dana Seidel's 808 in the high four games last week.
