In other business during its meeting Monday, the Havre City Council:

• Heard council member Cal Long's suggestion that the city draft a proclamation declaring Marc Mariani Day, giving the Havre High School graduate an "attaboy" for being named to the 2010 roster of the Tennessee Titans football team.

• Approved drafting a contract for local remote-control airplane club to renew its lease on property south of Havre;

• Reminded council members of today's meeting of the Streets and Sidewalks Committee set for 7 p.m.;

• Moved the time of a meeting of its Planning and Development Committee from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14;

• Set a meeting of its Ordinance Committee Meeting for 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16;

• Approved the payment of city expenses as approved by the Finance Committee prior to the meeting of the full council.
