Havre man's ticket wins $65K

A Havre man is a little richer following the Sept. 1 drawing in the state lottery.

William Hinkle bought one of two winning tickets in the Montana Cash lottery and will share the jackpot prize of $130,000 with Sandra Nuckolls of Billings.

State lottery officials said both now have picked up their winnings.

Hinkle told The Associated Press that he would use his share — $65,000 before taxes — to pay off bills.

He could not be reached for additional comment this morning.
