Men's City Tourney coming to Hi-Line Lanes

Ken will be holding help sessions for all interested youth bowlers from 11-1 p.m. Saturday mornings. For anyone interested the aim of these sessions are to help with: delivery, arm swing, approach, etc. Want to be a better bowler — give it a try. There are two weekends left for the Bud Hdcp Tourney. Events are a five man team with entry fee at $75 and a six line singles at $25. Reservations may be made by calling toll free at 877-538-3473 at Lewistown. Men's City Tourney is scheduled for next week. A team event will be held on Wednesday night and team, doubles, and singles will be bowled over the weekend. I will try to have more information here next week. Contact Shawn with any questions. An incident that happened on a sanctioned league was brought to my attention and I was asked to address the problem here. From what I understand this is not the first time something like this has happened and and unless stopped will happen again. It seems as though a league bowler has shown their true self by using foul language, obscene gesters, and no manners during league. Thankfully this does not happen often but when it does your league officers should deal with the problem. Refer to Rule 115a, #1 - reasons for dismissal of players. Everyone likes to have a good time and for many, bowling is one of their only "outs" during the week. Please use a little common sense and respect yourself and those around you. Happy birthday Dave Hamilton. Russ Boucher adds one Monday and Kenny Beck Tuesday. Krissa Kirby picked a 5-7; Shelley Shellenberger 4-5; Cecil Durbin 6-7-10; Jeania Stiles 6-7 and 4-6-10; Ruth Vukasin 5-10; Fern Lohse 3-10; Marla Boyce 7-9; Tammy Pozega 5-6 and 5-6-10; and this one a 5-6-10. Dianne Watson had the high game of 232 with her 551 and Christy Holden the series of 568 with a 212. Barb DeRosa shot a 223, 545; Lainie Fitzpatrick 203, 514; Julie Mariani 503; Amanda Vaughn 200; and Tammy Pozega 222, 500. Shawn Mariani put games of 234, 255, and 213 together for a 702. Mike Mariani had a 245; Mike Sherrill 242, 683; Bob Ingram 240, 612; and Chris Pappas 243. "6" shooters were: Kirk Olson 613; Kelly Olson 612; Randy Randolph 604; Jay Burrington 605; and Ryan Mapes 619. Nice bowling Shawn but you should feel guilty for taking your grandpa out of high game for the week. Mike Sherrill's 871 was the high four game. Don Jones totaled an 825, Kelly Olson 827, and Bob Ingram 790.
