Dorothy Briere Sinsel, 83, of Chinook, passed away at Northern Montana Care Center, on Sept. 10, 2010, due to natural causes.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Northern Montana Care Center or the charity of one's choice.

Survivors include a son, Albert D. (Linda) Azure of Havre; daughters Mary L. (Dave) Novak of Baudette, Minn., Carol (Stuart) McIntosh of Havre, Audie (Clark) Bancroft of Shelby, and Linda Johnson of Havre; a brother, Mickey Briere of Box Elder; sisters, Josephine Smith of Havre, and Maida Sorkness of Belt; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Sinsel; daughter, Clarice "Joy" Boyer; a son, Glenn Azure; brothers, Dave, Delmar "Chic," and Henry Briere; sisters, Lorraine St. Marks, Carol Falcon and Kathryn "Penny" Snooks.
