Jeffrey Aaron Flynn

Jeffrey Aaron Flynn, 58, passed away Sunday morning, July 11, 2010, at Northern Montana Hospital of acute pancreatitis.

His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010, at the First Lutheran Church, with Pastor Brad Ulgenes officiating. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the service. A private family burial will be held at the family farm. Memorial contributions in Jeff's honor may be made to Northern Montana Care Center Chapel Fund,

Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

Jeff was born July 27, 1951, in Havre, to Audrey (Hansen) and Kenneth R. Flynn. He was raised and educated in Havre.

For high school, he attended Shattuck Military Academy in Faribault, Minn., where he excelled in football and wrestling.

He graduated from Shattuck in 1969 and attended Northern Montana College.

In 1971 he was drafted into the United States Army and was stationed in Oppenheim, Germany. There he specialized in large machinery modification, which he later applied to his farming practices. After his honorable discharge in 1973, he returned to Kremlin to manage the family farm. Jeff enjoyed working on the farm, traveling and hunting.

In November 2003, Jeff was injured in a vehicle accident rendering him a quadriplegic.

Despite the accident, Jeff continued to manage the farm operation.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth R. Flynn, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Audrey Flynn of Havre, Mont.; his sister, Janis Flynn Pyrak of Havre, Mont.; his brother, Jay Flynn of Missoula, Mont.; his nieces, Crystal Pyrak of Seattle, Wash., and Fallon Flynn of Missoula, Mont.; his nephews, Nick (Vida) Pyrak of Havre, Mont., and Jack Flynn of Missoula, Mont.; and one great-niece, Cali Pyrak of Havre, Mont.
