North Stars back in action today

After five games in four days, there's no rest for the Havre American Legion baseball team.

Today, the North Stars will be back on the diamond when they take on the Class A Helena Reps at 3 at Legion Field in Havre.

The North Stars are coming off a 2-3 performance at their own tournament, which ran last Thursday through Sunday.

In the tournament, Havre beat Wolf Point and Strathmore, Alberta, but lost to the Glendive Blue Devils, the Gallatin Valley Outlaws and the Calgary Reds.

Today's game starts yet another busy week for the North Stars, who are 10-9 overall this season. On Wednesday, the North Stars travel to Centene Stadium in Great Falls to face district rival, the Great Falls Electrics. Wednesday's double header in Great Falls will be the first meetings of the year between the North Stars and Electrics.

Havre's big week continues Friday when the North Stars travel to Three Forks for a tournament hosted by Gallatin Valley.

Havre is slated to get at least three games at the Gallatin Valley tournament.

Today's game between the North Stars and Reps is slated for nine innings and starts at 3.
