Seidel will represent Dist. 34 very well

About a year ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Dana Sapp Seidel. As I got to know her, thoughts crossed my mind that she would be an excellent representative for this area. I wasn't the first person to introduce this idea to her during the early months of 2010, as others had raised the possibility to her about running as well.

I added my view that she would represent the people of House District 34 very well. As I got involved with her and her wonderful family: husband, Scott; daughters, Samantha (her husband, Tyler Thompson, and their daughter, Ava), Jayme and Sadie; and parents, Marge and Larry Sapp, I realized Dana embodies the best type of person to represent the people of Hill and Blaine counties.

Dana is a very caring nurse — she was Dr. Kurtz's nurse at the Sweet Medical Clinic for many years and did home health/hospice visits in Blaine County. She is a nurse with Hill County, is a Deputy Hill County coroner and operates her own massage therapist business (which I can personally attest is wonderfully beneficial). Her husband, Scott, operates two small business enterprises.

She is an avid bowler and a member of the Havre Trap Club. Her children have been in 4-H and all kinds of sports. Dana has always been an active member of the community.

I support Dana Sapp Seidel for election in HD 34 because I know that she takes the responsibility to be accountable to her constituents seriously. Dana will forge a record informed by the advice and best interests of her constituents in Hill and Blaine counties.

I have accompanied Dana often as she campaigns throughout her district. I have noticed that she communicates easily with those she meets, and, this is especially important, she actually listens to them and their concerns. She does not claim to have all the answers, but commits to roll up her sleeves, work hard on problems and find real solutions that improve the lives of her constituents.

Because I believe so strongly that she would be a good legislator, I readily agreed to be her campaign treasurer.
