Clarence D. “Bud” Een

Clarence D. "Bud" Een, 90, a Hi-Line farmer, mechanic, welder, electrician and inventor, who served in the U.S. Army during World War II and enjoyed restoring antique cars and dancing, died of natural causes at the Liberty Medical Center in Chester on Tuesday.

His funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rudyard. Burial in the Rudyard Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the church. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester.

Survivors are a brother, Robert Een of Warrenton, Va.; a sister, Bertha Smith of Superior; and many nephews and nieces.
