An idea for Fossil Festival

I want to thank everyone who helped put the Fossil Festival together. I know a lot of people did a lot of hard work to make the festival a winner.

I was raised in Havre and enjoy returning and seeing old friends.

I had an especially great time this year, as did everyone I talked to. I heard through a few people that financing the festival in the future may become a problem.

I was having dinner with some of my friends and heard a terrific response to the problem.

Why couldn't local businesses, such as motels, hotels and restaurants, sponsor and help with funding future festivals? Almost all businesses profited, and profited very well, during the three-day event. Would it not be beneficial for these people to contact the organizer and see if they can help a great party become even better?

Havre, take a good look at what happened in your town during the Fossil Festival and determine if it would be fun and profitable in future years.

I'll be back. Thanks for giving me some more great memories of life in Havre.
