Highland Park stays in session despite water main break

A water main break occurred on Boulevard Avenue early this morning, which flooded the southwest corner of Highland Park Early Primary School's playground. Principal Maureen Odegard said the school directed students to be dropped off at the east entrance due to the break. Odegard said she had received a call about the water main break at about 7 a.m., and Public Works Director David Peterson said that his crew was notified at about that time as well.
