With election times drawing quickly upon us it is necessary and crucial to the outcome that all registered voters make informed decisions regarding the candidates. Regarding HD 33, I would like to encourage people to consider Kris Hansen as their next representative. I've gotten to know Kris, the professional and the person, over a period of almost a year.

What has struck me most about getting to know Kris is that over the luncheon conversations and the backyard visits it soon became apparent that Kris was more interested in knowing who I was and what my thoughts and concerns were. I've watched her do this with others as well.

In the middle of a conversation, she would ask a leading question and listen intently to the person's answer, all the while assessing how this might help her in better serving the needs of this individual.

Kris's motivation in running for office has little to do with personal asperations and everything to do with being of genuine service to the people she would represent. She is genuine in her care and concern for the issues that most effect the people of Montana.

Her background as a lawyer with the judicial system and military have helped equip her with the wisdom and appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation. Her spiritual commitment has given her a compassion to see people as our community's most valuble asset; in her eyes everyone matters and is important.

Kris is a people person first and foremost. She is intelligent, articulate, engaging, and, above all else, real. Kris is the total package of what is best found in one who would represent House District 33 with care, fairness, and unwavering commitment. As both her friend and pastor I would like to whole-heartedly endorse Kris Hansen for office this November.
