Breaking sports: Rocky 34, Lights 23

Turnovers once again hurt the Montana State University-Northern football team in a home game. On Saturday afternoon, the Lights fell to visiting Rocky Mountain College 34-23 at Blue Pony Stadium.

Four MSU-N tunovers proved costly, as well as the Bears jumping out to a 20-0 halftime lead. The Lights' defense came up with some big plays as Northern rallied to score 17 unanswered points in the third quarter. But Rocky scored on two straight posessions in the first 1:12 of the fourth quarter to ice the game.
