VIRGINIA MORK obituary

Virginia (Ginger) R. Mork, 85 years of age, passed away, June 19, 2010, at Northern Montana Hospital, Havre, Mont., of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home, and at her request, no services will be held.

She was born on Aug. 12, 1924, in Big Sandy, Mont., to Roy and Martha (Tucker) Ingram. Virginia married Ever Bernard Mork in December 1941, in Malta, Mont. The couple then moved to Havre.

Virginia worked for the Great Northern Railroad for 41 years, retiring in

1982. She was not a woman afraid to speak her mind.

Virginia enjoyed many things in life, spending time with her husband at their home in Arizona. She especially loved their cabin in Lincoln, where she loved to fish the creek, sit and watch the hummingbirds and all the other scenic wildlife.

She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, crossword puzzles, collecting coins, hummingbird figurines, railroad memorabilia and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Gale (Kim) Mork, of Havre, Mont.; daughter, Linda (Jim) Shivley of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter- in-law Brenda Mork of North Carolina; sister, Iris (Walt) Bliss of Lacey, Wash.; six grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many wonderful friends who will miss her very much and the wonderful stories she told.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Ever; son, Gary Mork; grandson, Ryan Mork; brothers, Richard and Robert Ingram; and sisters, Margaret Caldwell and Dorthea Ellamae Fisher.
