Letter on Warburton was 'untrue ... unfair'

An open letter to William Thackery. I found the picture you painted in your letter to the editor about Wendy Warburton's "speech" at Fifth Avenue Christian Church to be both untrue and unfair. Wendy's message that Sunday was not one to enhance her own political career, but rather to convey how priceless the life of an unborn child is. We live in a dire time where the beliefs of our Christian founding fathers are being continually challenged by a liberal progressive movement. I applaud the church for being a beacon of light and taking a stand on these moral issues that Christians hold dear. Churches and their leadership have every right to support bills that the church deems beneficial to the community. Further, sir, I would suggest you look more thoroughly into federal tax laws before trying to smear the good name of this candidate and this church by insinuating false wrongdoings, bringing claims of careless conduct and using scare tactics to further you own political antics.
