The Chinook Sugarbeeters opened the 2010 Class C 8-man playoffs with a blowout win over Scobey. Saturday in Chinook, the Beeters thumped the Spartans 42-6 to advance to next week's quarterfinal in Charlo.

Chester/J-I's season came to an end Saturday with a 42-28 first-round playoff loss at No. 1 Wibaux. The Hawks finished the year with a 4-5 record.

In Six-Man playoff action, North Star was shut out at top-ranked Denton 40-0. The Knights also finished 4-5 on the year.
