Cowboys end Havre's season in Miles City

Though the score doesn't show it, the Havre High football team accomplished a lot over the weekend.

Playing in Miles City, the No. 3 Central A Blue Ponies were defeated by the No. 2 Eastern A Miles City Cowboys 54-26 in the opening round of the 2010 Class A playoffs.

And though it was a tough season-ending loss, the Ponies took a huge step forward on Saturday. The offense played outstanding, and though they struggled to find their way into the endzone, they gave the Cowboys one of the biggest challenges of the season.
