Hill County polling places open for voting

With several hotly-contested elections up in the air, voters have the choice today to make their voices heard.

The polls opened at 7 a.m. and will remain open through 8 p.m.

In the Havre area, the ballots will include county elections as well as legislative races. The ballots also include the race for Public Service Commission District 1, a contested Supreme Court election and the race for Montana's sole seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Four ballot issues also are up in today's election.

Voters who have not yet registered still have the opportunity to take part in this year's election. Late registration and voting is available in the county clerk and recorder's office from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
