Swenson ousted in Blaine County

Veteran Democratic Blaine County Commissioner Don K. Swenson fell victim to the Republican landslide on the Hi-Line Tuesday.

Republican Frank DePriest defeated Swenson 536-382 to win a six-year term on the commission. DePriest will be the only Republican on the three-member commission.

DePriest will represent District 2, the Chinook area.
