Breaking Sports: Lights 75, Dickinson State 68

The Montana State University-Northern men's basketball team used a strong final five minutes to pull away from the Dickinson State Blue Hawks Friday afternoon at the MSU-Northern Fieldhouse. The Lights beat the Blue Hawks 75-68 to improve to 3-1 on the season.

The game was close throughout, but Northern surged ahead down the stretch behind nine points from sophomore Devin Jackson in the final two minutes of the contest. Jackson finished the game with 12 points, while junior guard Shaun Tatarka paced the Lights with 17 points and four 3-pointers. MSU-N hosts Minot State at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
